Job title: Stock Control Operator
Reports to: Stock Control Supervisor

The Opportunity

The stock control operator role is an integral part of our operation. Key aspects of this role revolve around pulling and placing inventory and packaging in designated W.I.P areas and returning stock back into inventory in agreement to SLAs using forklifts or pallet jacks. Operators will need to document and communicate any shortages, any inventory that could not be found, all downtime and keep workload records as required. Cycle counts verifying our stock records are accurate is also a very important role in this team. Each operator is responsible for keeping all areas of the warehouse clean and free of debris.

What you’ll be doing

• Ensure orderly distribution to all W.I.P areas.
• Return completed goods from all W.I.P areas back to inventory.
• Upkeep of accurate stock records on JDE.
• Feed packaging to all operation areas.
• Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies per pull sheets.
• Maintains material handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections and reporting any needed repairs.
• Perform cycle counts as required.
• Operates forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move items safely.
• Keep inventory and W.I.P areas clean.
• Learns and adheres to workplace safety regulations.

What we’re looking for

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Previous stock or inventory experience a plus.
• Previous experience operating a forklift or pallet jack is a plus.
• Previous Material Handler experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to regularly practice safe work habits.
• Ability to work overtime including nights and weekends when business needs require.
• Ability to perform basic math equations.
• Ability to read, write and produce legible written documentation.
• Ability to safely and efficiency operate a forklift in warehouse and production environments.
• Ability to walk, kneel and stoop on a regular basis.
• Ability to twist, bend, stretch and climb on a regular basis.
• Ability to lift to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Valid forklift certification.
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Procedures (GMP).
• Ability to read and understand Material safety data sheets (MSDS)
