We have been crowned one of the winners in the East of England heats of the British Chambers of Commerce Business Awards 2016.
Now in their 13th year, the Awards are a highlight of the business calendar, and they pay tribute to the key role that local businesses play in driving the UK economy.
As the Commitment to People Development winner, we will now go forward to represent the East of England in the national finals, which take place in London in November.
John Dugmore, chief executive of Suffolk Chamber of Commerce said “this award is thoroughly well deserved. Treatt is a successful company for lots of reasons, but it’s clear that a major factor has been their investment in their workforce over many years.
“One of Suffolk Chamber of Commerce’s key strategic priorities is to boost the skills base of the county’s workforce over the longer-term and there is no doubt in my mind that Treatt is an exemplary company in this regard.
“The British Chamber Business Awards are the perfect opportunity for us to celebrate our local business community’s achievements, to take stock of the outstanding performances of UK businesses more generally over the past year, and to encourage and inspire others to follow in their footsteps.”
Daemmon Reeve, CEO of Treatt said “We are very proud to receive this award. Our colleagues are the key differentiator in a competitive marketplace and are at the centre of everything we do at Treatt. This recognition is testament to the commitment and engagement of the team who are driving success every day by ensuring we invest in and train our people to enable them to have happy and successful careers.”
