leoEarthoil Kenya appoints new director of African operations

Leopold Kerama has been appointed Director of African Operations for Earthoil Kenya. Starting 25 February 2013, Leopold Kerama will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the company together with its overall strategic direction.

Leopold Kerama will be taking over from current Group African Operations Director, Wayne Barratt, who will continue working with the company until March. With previous experience at British American Tobacco and Wrigleys, Kerama brings a varied background in engineering, project management, manufacturing, quality and health & safety to his new position.

Earthoil, the cosmetics division of Treatt, grows, processes and supplies organic essential and pressed seed oils to the cosmetic industry. Earthoil Kenya manages the processing of raw ingredients through its oils pressing facilities, while also overseeing its contracted growers and community farmers throughout Africa. Earthoil supplies its certified organic products worldwide and has further grower projects across the continent.
